Overview of the Company/Department
Global Corporate & Investment Banking (GCIB) is the division responsible for managing the Bank's key international client relationships and main financing products (DCM Loans & Bonds, Structured & Project Finance, Securitisation, Working Capital Solutions, FX and IR derivatives, Trade Finance, ECA financing, etc.).
The coverage teams manage the global relationships with these groups.
GCIB has a deep understanding of clients from a Credit and Strategic perspective, enabling it to offer the right products.
At the centre of the client relationship, the Relationship Management teams coordinate the commercial strategy as well as the business lines (Capital Markets FX, Rates, Project Finance, Trade Finance, Global Subsidiary Banking, etc.).
Within GCIB Paris, the Corporate Coverage team comprises 5 Relationship Managers are in charge of managing and developing the relationships with large French corporate groups and 5 Assistant Relationship Managers, who are assisting the GRM in their portfolio coverage.
The team is also supported by the Personal Assistant.
Main Purpose of the Role
The Personal Assistant
assists the Head of Corporate Coverage France and Head of GCIB France Platform in managing his agenda and booking business travels.
manages several departmental processes such as organizing events, meetings and lunches, processing invoices, arranging visits from international colleagues, ensuring staffs onboarding and managing customers lists.
This list is not limited to the above.
ensures the various bank policies are always strictly adhered to
Key Responsibilities
Personal Assistant to the Head of Corporate Coverage France and Head of GCIB France Platform
Manages his agenda, meetings and business trips.
Accurate attention to detail and liaison with numerous other PAs to ensure meetings and agenda are managed correctly.
Manages his travel bookings which requires attention to details.
Administrative and Marketing tasks
Arrange internal office and client events, including lunches and catering.
5-10 events per year ranging from internal, informal presentations to staffs, to fully catered Corporate client marketing events for 100+ people in prestigious Paris locations.
Support to GCIB France platform team (35 staffs) with travel and expenses processing.
All staff expenses must be booked and processed accurately and in a timely manner.
Expenses are controlled and processed by the PA.
Control and oversight of this process to ensure expense claims are in line with bank policy.
Support on various operational aspects of the Paris office, such as welcoming visitors from the network, organizing staffs onboarding, managing customer lists, etc
