Vallourec recherche un.e Responsable Learning and Development expérimenté.e dans le cadre de son développement.

Rattaché.e à la Global Talent Director, vous êtes en charge de concevoir et déployer le plan de formation du groupe dans nos 3 grandes régions (North America, South America, East Hemisphere).


Vous êtes la personne de référence pour tous les sujets liés à la Vallourec University ainsi qu’aux programmes de leadership, management, compliance, culture…

Vos principales responsabilités sont :

  • Aider la Directrice Global des Talents à définir et mettre en œuvre la stratégie de Formation et Développement (F&D) du Groupe, en maximisant l'impact des actions de F&D et en passant d'une logique d'offre à une logique de besoins.
  • Coordonner et suivre le plan de formation annuel avec les régions, en étant aligné avec les besoins de l'entreprise et les informations collectées dans le cadre des activités de Talent Management.
  • Concevoir, planifier et superviser les actions de F&D (culture, langues, leadership, management) en les adaptant aux besoins locaux.
  • Évaluer l'efficacité des formations et proposer un système d’amélioration continue.

  • Suivre l'exécution du plan et du budget de formation, en optimisant les ressources disponibles.
  • Collaborer étroitement avec les directeurs de département et le top management pour aligner les initiatives de formation avec les objectifs de l'entreprise.
  • Se tenir informé des nouvelles tendances et technologies en lien avec la formation et de le développement des compétences.

  • Développer et suivre les partenariats avec les prestataires de formation externes.
  • Gérer le LMS et les partenaires associés, en assurant l'efficacité de la solution.
  • Manager une personne (Learning and Development officer)
  • Dans le cadre de ce poste, des déplacements occasionnels sont à prévoir (2/3 fois par an).

    Profil recherché :

  • Vous avez minimum 5 ans d’expérience dans une fonction similaire, une expérience dans un environnement industriel étant un plus.

  • Vous êtes diplômé.e d’un Bachelor ou d’un Master en Ressources Humaines, Psychologie, Sciences de l'Éducation ou domaine connexe.

  • Être titulaire d’une certification en Learning and Development comme CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) ou un équivalent est également un plus.

  • Vous avez une première expérience dans l’administration d’un LMS.

  • Vous êtes autonome, proactif.ve, et êtes reconnu.e pour votre sens de l’organisation.

  • Vous aimez travailler en équipe et vous avez une première expérience de collaboration avec des équipes internationales.

  • Vous êtes curieux et restez attentif aux nouvelles tendances et technologie en matière de formation.
  • L’anglais étant la langue de travail pour le périmètre groupe, il est nécessaire de parler couramment l’anglais et le français.

    Job description:

    Vallourec is looking for an experienced Learning and Development Manager to complete its Talent Management Team.

    Reporting to the Global Talent Director, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the group's training plan in our three major regions (North America, South America, East Hemisphere).


    You will be the go-to person for all matters related to Vallourec University as well as leadership, management, compliance, and culture programs.

    Your main responsibilities will be :

    - Assist the Global Talent Director in defining and implementing the group’s Learning and Development strategy, maximizing the impact of L&D actions, and shifting from a logic of offer to a logic of needs 


    - Coordinate and monitor the annual training plan & actions with the regions, aligning with the company's needs and the information collected during Talent Management activities.


    - Design, plan, and oversee L&D actions (culture, languages, leadership, management)


    and customize them to the closest of the participants needs 


    - Evaluate the effectiveness of training actions and propose a mechanism for continuous improvement.


    - Monitor the training plan and training budget execution , with a focus on leveraging best practices and optimizing available resources.


    - Implement a close collaboration with the business heads to ensure full alignment of training initiatives with the company objectives.


    - Stay updated on new trends and technologies in Learning and Development.


    - Develop and monitor partnerships with external training providers .


    - Manage the LMS and associated partners, and in particular the solution effectiveness


    - Supervise one person (Learning and Development officer).

    This position requires occasional travel (2-3 times per year).

    Background and skills expected :

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

    Experience in an industrial environment is a plus.

  • You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education Sciences, or a related field.

  • Holding a certification in Learning and Development such as CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) or an equivalent is a plus.

  • You have initial experience in administering an LMS.

  • You are autonomous, proactive, and recognized for your organizational skills.

  • You enjoy working in a team and have initial experience collaborating with international teams.

  • You are curious and stay attentive to new trends and technologies in training.

  • As English is the working language for the group scope, it is necessary to be fluent in both English and French.
