Urgent! Ingénieur·e Développement iOS – Application Aerospace Job Opening In Labège – Now Hiring Skyted

Ingénieur·e Développement iOS – Application Aerospace

Job description

Skyted is a Toulouse-based deeptech startup backed by Airbus Développement, Onera and ESA.

We design acoustic technologies that make private, silent communication possible anywhere, from trains to planes to open spaces.

Beyond privacy, our mission is to reduce noise pollution in work environments and enhance comfort for everyone, creating a quieter and more focused world.

Skyted, a pioneering company in silent communication solutions, is pushing the boundaries of innovation to transform the way we connect every day.

🚀 Our Mission

To provide “new nomads” (train, plane, taxi travelers) and professionals working in open spaces or call centers around the world with smooth, silent communication solutions.

🤝 Why Join Us?

A breakthrough deeptech, recognized and supported: Founded in 2022 from a collaboration with Airbus Développement and ONERA, SKYTED pivoted from an acoustic mask to a lightweight, comfortable headset: the SKYTED 320.

Today, we are backed by leading innovation players such as Capgemini and Orange, and we’ve been recognized at prestigious events including CES in Las Vegas and MWC in Barcelona.

A global vision, a massive market: With the global audio market expected to reach $83 billion by 2025, we are moving fast with a pipeline of 15,000 headsets to be delivered starting in 2025, alongside ongoing discussions with major distributors and headset manufacturers.

An ambition beyond hardware: We are building a complete ecosystem of solutions for seamless and silent communication, including:

SoundBubble, an app that optimizes the use of the SKYTED 320

Trainways, a mobile app already available on iOS that predicts network quality on trains

And many other exciting projects currently in development!

💼 The Role :

As an iOS Development Engineer – Aerospace Application, you will be responsible for :

Designing and developing the SKYTED Aerospace application for IFE (In-Flight Entertainment) within a closed environment (private iOS App Store), ensuring a smooth, secure experience adapted to the constraints of the aerospace industry.

Integrating communication features (calls, audio, etc.) enabling passengers to use the SKYTED headset in-flight while complying with the technical and regulatory requirements of aviation.

Implementing and optimizing audio pipelines using Reactor to ensure ultra-low latency and reliable real-time audio communication in-flight.

Collaborating with the hardware and software teams to ensure perfect interoperability between the application and the SKYTED 320 headset.

Optimizing the user experience in an aerospace (IFE) context: simple, intuitive, and stable interface, functional even under complex network conditions.

Setting up and maintaining a private App Store for application deployment, ensuring the highest level of data confidentiality and security.

Testing, validating, and documenting developments to meet the reliability and certification requirements specific to the aerospace sector.

Monitoring technological and regulatory trends related to mobile solutions and connectivity standards in the aviation environment.

👤 Profile Sought
