Job Overview:

Meeting Area, Frequency and Power requirements are some of the most meaningful activities in CPU development and require a large amount of computing, as well as analyzing large datasets to extract relevant information.

Responsibilities:

As part of the CPU implementation team, you will:

Automate, manage and improve flow environment, dependencies management, continuous integration, job dispatch mechanism, in-house results database and reports/results viewers.

Profile implementation flow resources usage (memory, #threads) to help find flow bottleneck and possible improvement.

Help produce improved Power/Performance/area CPU micro-architecture.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Preferably graduated from a University or Engineering School, in Computer Science or related.

    First experience with scripting/automation would be welcomed.
  • Database creation and maintenance (SQL / SQLAlchemy).
  • Knowledge of continuous integration environment (Jenkins or Bamboo for example).
  • Scripting (Python, TCL, Bash) and experience with data analysis and visualization frameworks, for automation, user interface and user friendliness.
  • Exposure to Confluence and Jira to detail and monitor activities.
  • Ability to schedule own workload and plan tasks.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • “Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

  • Understanding of Power versus Performance versus Area tradeoff in typical CMOS design.
  • Working in UNIX/Linux environment, with bug tracking and source code control systems, especially GIT.
  • Able to work in French and in English.
