This will be a brand new amazing office separate from HQ as a digital lab or accelerator, think startup within an enterprise.

Requirements What we are looking for Excellent software engineers that want to collaborate with teammates to implement a new feature and help improve our products.

Add to our existing services or roll out a new service to support this feature.

Identify and help troubleshoot an issue affecting users in one of our many regions in the world.

Participate in defining new product requirements and design together with the product team.

Skills Experience developing high performance, highly available & scalable applications with a micro-service architecture and a in-depth understanding of observability Knowledge if and experience with high performance data stores Deep Technical understanding of modern web architectures and frameworks In depth exposure to cloud platforms, preferably AWS Ability to drive continuous improvements through multiple cross-platform teams Ability to learn fast, and a passion for learning are absolutely essential Diverse programming language experience preferred Proven experience of agile practices Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive The need to automate repetitive tasks Tech Stack We have a diverse stack and as long as you are willing to work with a microservices approach, we are open-minded about your technology preferences.

Youll have the ability to explore new technologies and strategies.

Our current stack looks like this: Some of the key tech we currently use or plan to use: Backend: GraphQL, Node.js, many of the AWS stack Frontend: React, JavaScript, Typescript Clouds: Mostly Amazon Web Services but also Microsoft Azure, GCP Infrastructure as Code: Serverless, AWS Cloudformation & CDK Containers: Kubernetes, Docker Desired Experience Experience in operating in an Continuous Delivery environment Experience in operating in an Agile development environment Experience in operating with automated quality test approaches eg TDD Desired personal attributes Ability to work independently and as part of multiple teams inside a global engineering team.

Key Functional Requirements & Qualifications Experience developing best Lean & Agile practices, policies, and/or procedures Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly Drives proof of concept implementations Facilitates design and review sessions to define broad solutions with the big picture in mind Ability to assess new technologies and compile architecture decision records (ADRs) For more senior roles, mentoring and/or technology evangelism/advocacy experience is a plus Key Technical Requirements & Qualifications Experience with cloud-based services (especially AWS managed services) Experience in agile development processes and DevOps methodology / principals Experience in GIT-based source code management (GitHub) and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices (GitHub Actions) Experience in specifying Infrastructure as a code (Terraform) Experience in Linux, containers, Kubernetes, and serverless Experience in Javascript, Node.js, React and Flutter Experience in object oriented and test-driven development Experience with event-based systems/integrations Experience in automating deployment, scaling, and management of complex applications Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (AWS RDS) Solid understanding of networking concepts Experience in Integration Services (Informatica Cloud, Airflow) is a plus Knowledge with messaging solutions (EventBridge, SNS, SQS, Rabbit MQ, Kafka) Knowledge of Data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, AWS Redshift) is a plus Experience in working within compliance (e.g.: quality, regulatory - data privacy, GxP, SOX) and cybersecurity requirements is a plus Relevant cloud certifications are a plus Soft and behavioral skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience working with multiple teams to drive alignment and results Service-oriented, flexible, positive team player Self-motivated, takes initiative Problem solving & critical thinking Your background 6+ years of experience in a Developer or Solution Architect role 1+ years of experience managing a team of architects or developers Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or similar field Experience in a healthcare company is a strong plus
